Quote #1:

She exhaled slowly, tucking a stray hair behind her ear and trying to play it cool.

“Did you just smell me?”

Ha, I love this quote because Luke’s stunned that he just caught Andrea smelling

him after they first met. He’s stunned but he’s also intrigued. He likes this girl. A lot.

He’s thinking she likes him a lot too…

Quote #2:

Or how about, What exactly are you packing in them jeans? Because...holy hell,

it’s big.  Here’s some more funny sexy for you. Andrea doesn’t say this out loud—she thinks it.

Just after she and Luke kiss hot and heavy and she feels what he’s

packing in them jeans.

Quote #3:

“Keep your hands on the glass,” he commanded when she started to drop them,

and she went still, pressing her palms against the giant window. Oh, Luke tells Andrea this the first time they’re together and it’s sort of hot. Okay,

it’s really hot because he’s bossy and telling her what to do and she loves it.

Nothing wrong with a man who’s a little bossy, right?

Quote #4:

He laughed. “Right, I keep notes of all the ways I can bring a woman to orgasm.”

He shook his head. “I don’t think so.”  “If you do, I want a copy, because those notes, I’m pretty sure they’re worth

something.” I don’t think I need to explain why I chose this quote as a favorite.

I’ve also decided I’m a pervert because pretty much every quote I’m picking

has to do with sex. Oh well. I’m owning the pervert moniker with pride.

Quote #5:

“I’d like to wear you out some more, but I’m afraid you’ll get mad that I kept you in

bed the entire time you’re here.” Andrea goes to visit Luke and of course, they

spend a lot of time together alone. In Luke’s bed. Naked. But she’s never been

to Seattle before and he’s feeling bad that he’s not giving her the tour so…yeah.

Forget tours when you can get a sexy football player naked, right?

Endless Nights, in Five Words

There are many words I could use to describe ENDLESS NIGHTS (second in my

VEGAS NIGHTS series) so to ask me to choose only five is going to be hard! But

I shall valiantly carry on. So here we go.

ENDLESS NIGHTS is FUN: Three single girlfriends who go to Vegas for a fun

weekend can be nothing less than fun! Not only do I think it’s a fun read, but I

had a blast writing every single novella in this series.

ENDLESS NIGHTS is pure FANTASY: I mean, come on. Three friends go to

Vegas and meet gorgeous, famous men who fall madly in love with them?

It’s pretty unreal. But then again, that’s the point. I set out to write this series

as pure contemporary fantasy. In ENDLESS NIGHTS, nurse Andrea meets

pro football player Luke and sparks fly. Who doesn’t want to fall in love with

a sexy football player?

ENDLESS NIGHTS is SEXY: Luke Nelson is a man’s man. Big, strong, he’s a

badass out on the football field and a charmer off. He takes one look at pretty

Andrea and knows he has to have her--and does whatever it takes to get her. The sex between these two is off the charts but also…

ENDLESS NIGHTS is SWEET: Because Luke really does care about Andrea.

He’s not chasing her just for the chase. He’s intrigued by her. Drawn to her.

He likes this woman, who’s so normal and doesn’t seem to care so much

that he’s some sort of celebrity, like all the other women he encounters. He

loves that about Andrea. Her normalcy.

Finally, ENDLESS NIGHTS is REAL: Fine. I said it was pure fantasy but also?

I tried my best to keep Andrea and her friends Reagan and Natalie real. They’re

just regular women who work hard at their jobs and are looking for a little fun for

the weekend. They need the escape. And boy do they find it—in the form

of three sexy men.

Fun Facts about Endless Nights

A book series is never born out of nothing. There are always influences that come

into play as I put together a series, and the VEGAS NIGHTS series is no exception.

So without further ado, let’s discuss a few of those fun little facts.

When I approached my editor about the VEGAS NIGHTS series, she asked that I

have each heroine fall in love with an actor, a pro athlete and a rockstar (she was

especially fond of the rockstar idea –and you'll meet Noah Wilde in WILD NIGHTS in July). I was certainly on board for that…

The heroine from ENDLESS NIGHTS is named after a favorite blogger of mine

(though she doesn’t blog anymore, boo) who complained on Twitter a long time

ago, I never see any heroines named Andrea! My name isn’t

heroine-worthy. Well, Andrea, now it is. J

I haven’t told my husband that my hero Luke Nelson plays for the Seattle

Seahawks because I’m afraid he might disown me. You see, my husband

is a hardcore 49er fan and he, uh, hates the Seahawks. But I wanted to

keep Luke on the west coast and I’ve already written a hero who plays for

the 49ers and I don’t like the Raiders so…hello Seahawks.

The hotel they’re staying at in ENDLESS NIGHTS is based on the Bellagio. I

did a signing in Vegas last fall and stayed at the Bellagio and wow, it’s gorgeous.

So I knew I had to base my fictional hotel on the Bellagio because yeah, why not?

Though there are so many beautiful hotels in Vegas it’s not hard to find some

The hotel in ENDLESS NIGHTS has no name. I did that on purpose.

There’s a scene in a lingerie store that was inspired by the Victoria’s Secret

catalog I received while writing ENDLESS NIGHTS. I thought, ooh that stuff

is pretty, and decided to have Andrea try some of it on for Luke. He mightily

I love writing a pro athlete hero. I’ve written so many, it’s like I can’t escape them.

I don’t want to escape them! They are way too much fun. And sexy. And hot.

And gorgeous. And…you get the picture.

I hope you check out ENDLESS NIGHTS. I think you’ll enjoy Andrea and Luke’s story…

WILD NIGHTS (7/21/15)

Karen Erickson created the perfect series.  Three vacationing nurses go on a trip to Vegas.  They want to unwind, take a break and have a little fun.  What they get is missing luggage and wild nights that lead these three girls on a rollercoaster ride to unexpected love.  Vacationing in Vegas has never been such fun.

What happens in Vegas…could be a fantasy come true.

Vegas Nights, Book 0.5

Between nursing school and starting their careers, Reagan, Andrea and Natalie have had no time for dating. After saving up for a special vacation, they’re on their way to Vegas for a long-awaited weekend of fun, sun, gambling and partying.

When their luggage goes missing, an impromptu shopping trip leads them to James, who makes them an unusual offer—to be part of the female scenery at his boss’s upcoming party. Not just any scenery, but women who are pretty in a real way, not the nipped, tucked and dyed Hollywood version.

Accept a “private party” invitation from a complete stranger? These ladies weren’t born yesterday. Yet before “no thanks” crosses their lips, Reagan discovers who James’s boss really is: Declan Carter, an actor she’s crushed on for, well, forever. Now she’s determined to be the eye candy who catches Declan’s eye. No matter what it takes…

Warning: Epic shopping trip results in meeting hot men. It is recommended that all

credit cards be placed out of reach before reading.

My Review

Wicked Weekend (Vegas Nights, #0.5)  by Karen Erickson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A prequel novella in Karen Erickson's Vegas Nights series, I found Wicked Weekend to be unrealistically entertaining. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the story a great deal. The story centers around three friends who decide to get away from their busy lives and careers on a weekend roadtrip to Vegas. I found the story to be highly entertaining and loved my introduction to Reagan, Andrea and Natalie. The only negative things I have to say about the story is that some of the scenarios were unrealistic and the story was to short. However that still did not detract from my enjoyment. Received a copy of this book for an honest review.  (

Sometimes dream crushes do come true.

Vegas Nights, Book 1

Reagan can’t believe her luck—and not in a good way. One minute she’s hanging

out with her friends at an exclusive party in Las Vegas. The next, she’s attracted

the attention of a famous actor. Not just any actor. Declan Carter, the man on

whom she used to—okay, might still—have a fangirl crush. Whose blue eyes

leave her embarrassingly tongue tied.

All Declan wants is to meet a nice, normal woman who won’t use him as a

stepping stone to fame. Something about Reagan tells him she could be

that rare woman, and he follows his instinct to invite her back to his suite—

where they proceed to have wild monkey sex. All. Night. Long.

What was supposed to be one night of no-regrets sex stretches out into a

blissful weekend of two people who can’t get enough of each other. But when the glamour of Sin City wears off, they’re standing on the edge of a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn a weekend fling into something lasting. Will they take the jump?

Warning: Smokin’ hot sexy weekend with a gorgeous actor? There shouldn’t be a warning—more like encouragement to indulge your fantasies!

Reckless Nights (Vegas Nights, #1) by Karen Erickson
My rating:  4 of 5 stars

Reckless Nights picks up where Wicked Weekend left off. Regan and Declan meeting. Their relationship turns hot and heavy really fast. But can a weekend fling between two very different people turn into a ever after love? Regan is insecure about if she is really enough and Declan is unsure if he and Regan can make a relationship work, based on a steamy weekend fling. This is a short story and is quite good. It will definitely leave you wanting more. Don't like to give away spoilers, so if my review intrigues you--READ THE BOOK! Received this book for an honest review. (

The sex is crazy good. Is it crazier to want something more?
Vegas Nights, Book 2

Andrea and her two best friends have shed their nurses scrubs for a long-awaited weekend in Las Vegas, and nothing—flight delays, lost luggage, or the slightly weird guy with the sketchy invite to

an exclusive bash—is going to stop their fun.

Within minutes of arriving at the opulent party, she’s deep in conversation with

gorgeous, funny Luke Nelson, wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks. For

some crazy reason, he can’t seem to keep his eyes—or hands—off her.

Luke isn’t looking for a hookup, he just wants to relax…until he gets one look at the classy brunette in the barely-there dress. One minute they’re talking, the next they’re all over

each other in a dark corner. It’s like he’s an addict and she’s the fix

he’s been searching for all his life.

One night of hot sex isn’t nearly enough. But after a weekend spent

never more than a few inches apart, the time is quickly approaching

when they’ll have to make a long-distance relationship work—or break it off.

Warning: A lady who wants to go a little wild, a good-guy pro athlete who

likes a little sass with his class, crazy good sex, and a crazy ex.

My Review

Endless Nights (Vegas Nights, #2)  by Karen Erickson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Am really loving Karen Erickson's "Vegas Nights" series. This series has everything. A group of close knit girlfriends go on a roadtrip to Vegas and end up finding a sensually satisfying good time with guys who are tired of the celebrity scene. Endless Nights is Andrea and Luke's story. She is a nurse, he is a pro football player. They only have the weekend to explore their feelings. What happens when they each discover they want more? Can they overcome the obstacles? Enjoyable read. Received a copy of this story for an honest review.  (
