THE TYCOON'S FORCED BRIDE BY JANE PORTER
Release Date: January 28, 2016
SYNOPSIS
Malcolm McKenzie will never forget that night in New York when he put Ava Galvan in a taxi following a heated argument, and the Argentine beauty was involved in an horrific accident—one that ended her career as an acclaimed soloist with the Manhattan Ballet, and impaired her memory and ability to live an independent life.
The Scottish tycoon and philanthropist lives with his guilt, and another consequence: Ava was pregnant with his child the night of the accident. Ever since that night, Malcom has raised Jack as a single father.
But Ava is stronger now, and Jack wants his mommy to come home. Malcolm has never stopped wanting her and he’s determined to do whatever it takes to claim Ava—with or without her consent.
REVIEW: THE TYCOON'S FORCED BRIDE BY JANE PORTER
The Tycoon's Forced Bride by Jane Porter
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Knowing our limitations does not mean never taking a chance. Life is full of curve balls, roadblocks that no one expects to happen but does the risk outweigh the reward? The Tycoon's Forced Bride by Jane Porter explores this very question. Ava is a character that is haunting. Her plight sticks in the mind and raises the question of how I would handle it if I was faced with a similar situation. Ava was so focused on the life she lost that she neglected to consider the life she still had. Her idea of perfection was who she used to be not who she currently was. What touched me is that there were so many times that Colm could have given up and walked away but he stayed because his love for her was stronger than any obstacle. This was story that had me teary eyed but it also left me with a better understanding of the issues people with traumatic brain injuries face and the healing power of love. Hat's off to Jane Porter. I received an ARC of this inspiring and romantic read in exchange for an honest review.
