AIR CONDITIONER REQUIRED. Ms. Maxwell knows the meaning of spicy romance. Two types of heat: the sexy attraction and irritating drama made for a complicated but addictive story. Sweet Victory shows how a situation of convenience can quickly turn to anything but. Sophie was a smart woman with a dilemma. The jury's still out on Xander. Love him or hate him, his star power is evident. Perhaps that was the draw of the story, because I have yet to make up my mind about Xander. Despite the hero and his at times egotistical behavior, Sweet Victory was a knockout in my opinion.

KIssing Her Enemy proves that the easy road is not always the best one. Amber has had her heart broken, dreams crushed and is on the verge of losing her business, when she crosses paths with the man who holds the fate of her happiness in his hands. The original "heartbreaker", at least in her case Logan Wright. For Logan, business is everything. He has a lot to prove and not an abundance of time to do so. So why is he on the verge of risking it all for a second chance at love? Anytime that I read Coleen Kwan, I get goose bumps. Realistic situations, heartwarming moments and temptation at it's peak, make for my kind of heavenly bliss.

Laire and Eric's journey to forever may be more complicated and less simplistic than a Disney cartoon but Don't Speak delivers enough powerful emotion to make Hans Christian Andersen proud. Candis Terry is a one click author for me. She is perfect escapism reading. Her characters never take themselves too seriously and despite that, her novels manage to appeal to the heart, stimulate the hormones and continuously fall into the irresistible category. Though not as emotional as Jordan and Lucy's journey of mistakes and regret in A Better Man, Perfect for You has it's moment of unforgettable. Brooke and Declan's story is more about living life to the fullest than dwelling on past regrets. Brooke is a risk taker. She knows what she wants and when it matters most, has no problem with asserting herself. Declan can learn a thing or to from this firecracker. The ability to get out of your head for a while is reason enough to give this author a try.

The land, his family and hard work are deeply ingrained in his soul. Can these opposites learn the value of compromise before all is loss? The most endearing quality about Finn and Ms. Keniston is she allows the reader to draw their own conclusions. Whether it be a mysterious dog, who's there to lend a helping hand. A proud man scared to open himself up to hurt again. Or lastly a reunited couple seeking a second chance. Her stories send the message of hope in good times and bad. We all need that. Ms. Keniston delivers an abundance of heart along with big personality.

A fresh start in a less hectic atmosphere is just the thing for Avery and her daughter to begin again. A little small town romance with a adorable backdrop of characters and a an A list main cast make for a light hearted second chance story.

The best gifts are the ones presented with love. Words to live by. Hometown Cowboy has LOVE written all over it. Ms. Richardson's kinship with her readers is evident with every word she writes and each character she creates. She targets the heart and scores with every aim. Hometown Cowboy starts with regrets and sorrow but gradually builds with a brighter hope for a better tomorrow. Lance and Jessa's path is not always pretty, but it's built on real emotion and not manufactured in any way. To heal the pain of the past, we have to face it, accept it and move forward. I never tire of this author, her melodies always hit the right chord with me.
