Two books in and I've fallen hard for author Katy Paige. Where Proxy Bride had a lightness of heart that left readers with a smile. Missy's Wish reads like a heartaching, country song that pulls your emotions around. Missy is that little voice inside every heart and head that bullies us into believing ourselves not good enough. Cast as the town joke, she wishes for so much more. Her saving grace comes from an unlikely source. Lucas carries his own baggage around.
