Well, that and his sexy scar, his emotional baggage, and the sense of humor and fun that is buried deep. But Sawyer doesn’t need any more people to worry about long-term and the things that make him feel protective of Juliet aren’t going to go away.

So, this two-week adventure can’t be anything more than a fling. With Juliet down on the bayou, there’s an even bigger threat than alligators and hurricanes. There’s the very good chance of someone ending up with a broken heart.

Sawyer and Juliet are my favorite Erin Nicholas' couple. After watching them together, it's hard for me to imagine anyone not leaving Beauty and the Bayou with a smile. She's the Beauty to his beast and boy do they set off sparks. Tragedy has made him a loner with a penchant for grouchiness. Juliet may be a tad naive, but she's no pushover. Her heart makes her fearless, although a tad clueless. They shouldn't work, but my heart kept hoping they would. Nicholas continues to enchant with her irresistible characters that charm their way into your heart.
