Leave the Night On gives readers something to talk about with a hint of scandal and a bushel of heart to guide the way. Sutton is my type of heroine. She's not afraid to rock the boat to prove she's nobody's victim. In this case I think she got more than she bargained for. She lost her heart, but gained something much more precious. Her self - respect and a love she never dreamed of. Wyatt and Sutton may be wrong for each other, but nevertheless, they make perfect sense. Sometimes a bad decision can end up leading to the right one.

Lauren Smith has never been afraid of explosive tales and carnal delights. An Earl By Any Other Name stays true to that formula but throws in some laughs and romance to even out the passion. The heat is fierce, the humor is smart and the drama's enough to capture the heart.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, would be a good way of describing the appeal of Allison Gatta. Be careful! She just might run away with your heart.

Ms. Munton has peaked my interest with this pair.

Ms. Fox spins a web that starts out deceptively innocent, but quickly spirals into wickedly tempting territory. The twist is the lesson that she highlights along the way. Don't judge by what's on the outside, what really matters is what's hidden on the inside. Powerful message wrapped in a knock your socks off read. My favorite read by this author.

She's strong enough to follow her own rules and wise enough to listen when her heart comes calling. Nicholas is just the icing on the cake. He loves her strength and despite her a scandalous behavior, she owns his heart. The Importance of Being Scandalous wins my vote for a wonderful and empowering tale.

I have really enjoyed getting to know the Pierce Brothers. Smart, creative, complicated are the skills they know best, but underneath all drama, hurt and secrets lies a really strong family. Cal, Dalton and Tristan love each other, they just express it differently. Isn't that what family is all about? Making what should be the most simple of tasks, anything but. Sydney and Tristan should be experts at that. Their love was a long time coming but ended all too soon. Or did It? Can they rebuild the trust they lost and the love they let slip way? Through the wounded pride and long withheld secrets, for me the most priceless of moments were the interactions between Becca and Tristan. Watching them go from wary strangers to building a tentative connection was such a sweet sight to behold. I fell in love.

Kasey Michaels can deliver the laughs unlike any other author. Though less than perfect her characters are as unique as they come. The Bedeviled Viscount Brockton proves that in order to be lovable, one doesn't have to be perfect. Callie is eccentric, pushy and clueless but she is a heartbreaker anyway. Simon knows her oddities but finds comfort in her. She brings him out of his shell and forces him to relax by just being herself. He gives her the courage to listen to her heart while making her see how valuable she is to him. The positive message. The sweet characters and the simplistic delivery are enough to remind me why romance is my genre of choice.
