Redundant am I? Melissa Foster should be proud of the Wild Boys After Dark series. She combined sexy tales with emotional journeys of healing, wisdom,love and forgiveness. What I find so compelling about this series is that each man handled the tragic events surrounding their father's death in a different way. Logan felt guilty for not protecting them when they needed him most. Heath figures being in control will not leave him vulnerable. Jackson and Cooper seem more analytical. Logically they know nothing could have been done but are emotionally tormented by it all. Jackson's torment ate at him. It almost cost him his best friend Laney. He internalized all the pain and push everyone away. His father's death felt like a rejection to him and he did not want to feel that pain again. I received an ARC of Jackson (Wild Boys After Dark #3) for an honest review. With all of these exceptional stories Cooper(Wild Boys After Dark #4) has a lot to live up to.

Eric- Temptation with a capital "T".
Any reader of Hearts at Play will recognize Kat as Brianna's trusty friend who helped Brianna and Hugh on the speedway to love. Daring Her Love is Kat's story. Trying to turn over a new leaf has her twisted in knots. Wanting to find the happiness her friend has, she decides to get phase herself from impetuous Kat to look before you leap Kat. It doesn't take long for her to start to regret that decision. I received an ARC of Daring Her Love by Melissa Foster in exchange for an honest review. When I first opened the novella I thought it would be too short for it to live up to Melissa Foster's other reads. After having read it this format worked. I caught up with past favorite characters, met new attention grabbing ones, enjoyed a great story and was able to finished the novella in one day. All good when you're on the go alot.

Reading Lori Foster is a treat for me because her writing style reminds me of Carly Phillips and Susan Mallery. Her synchronization is in tip top shape and her characters are a pleasure to get to know.

Reading is one of my favorite things to do. Opening a book helps me to relax, clear my mind and escape for a little while. Elle Wright was brought to my attention via a previous book that was recommended to me. I did not get a chance to read that yet but decided to try out some of her other novels. His All Night was up for request on NetGalley so I figured I would see what all the fuss was about. It is exciting to me when I discover a story that takes place in my home state. When this happens it is easier to put a picture to a location because you don't have to travel far to visit. That was a huge plus for me with this story. With His All Night, Ms. Write has written a story that is sexy but not explicitly so and addictive.

When is the second book of this series going to be available? A Billionaire Between the Sheets has it all. Shocking reveals, corporate takeovers, lingerie, drama and obsession. There is so much happening that if you look away for a minute something could be missed. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This novel and me were attached at the hip until the very end. The actions of previous generations were the catalyst that lead Deacon to Olivia. This story was so much bigger than Olivia and Deacon's love, it was also about coming to terms with the past. The ricochet left by the pieces of a broken heart proved vital in the outcome of healing a family. Impressive read.

A good heroine should be strong-willed and not afraid to stand her ground. She should be able to stand side by side with the hero and not be overshadowed. Elizabeth Hoyt took these factors into consideration while writing Sweetest Scoundrel. Asa was a large part of the story. He and Eve complemented each other well. Sweetest Scoundrel would not have worked as well without these two characters leading the pack. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. Like a symphony, Sweetest Scoundrel's Eve and Asa were perfectly in tune. Their chemistry, antagonism and personalities hit the right note in every way.

A sweet and salty romance. Anna Harrington is an author that will be on my radar regularly in the future. I requested an ARC if Dukes are Forever in exchange for an honest review. Ms. Harrington's work is a cross between Gone with the Wind and Beauty and the Beast. In Kate she found a character that was not a weakling but was forced to endure having little to no control over her circumstances. I liked her because her personality was one of a fighter. She would not let herself be taken advantage of. Didn't like Edward, AT FIRST. The hotheaded temperament he had made him come off as a jerk to me. His emotions led him to make some questionable choices. I did not like how he tried to railroad Kate. Dukes are Forever was wild, seductive, imaginative and bedazzling. I enjoyed it and look forward to hearing more from this author.

I have read each and every one of the Tycoon Billionaire series. Julie Farrell is good at creating characters that are sexy, complicated and rich. Jake fit the mold of complexity and was eye catching in a take charge kind of way. Once you noticed him, it was inevitable. He is not easily forgotten. That however is where the similarities between him and his brothers ended. Jake did not sit around and wait for trouble to find him, he usually headed straight for it. Jake was a lot less polished because of his life experiences but he also had a well of hidden emotions that was waiting to be set free.
Just like his brothers he also has a huge capacity for love and will let nothing prevent him from finding his hearts desire. I received an ARC of The Billionaire's Secret in exchange for an honest review. It was a pleasureful experience getting to know Jake and despite the hardship he and Astride had to endure.I am glad they took me along for the ride.

Love on a Summer Night by Zoe York

Zoe York is known for signature stories that are sensitive, passionate and emotion charged. All of those words describe Love On a Summer Night. This novel is standard Zoe York with a little bit more edge. Zander is more tense, moody and has a lot more baggage than the average hero in one of Ms. York's reads. The twists and turns he has traveled may have something to do with that. The heroine Faith is a nurturer that is floundering and trying to find a new direction. I received an ARC of Love on A Summer Night in exchange for an honest review. It surprised me how well this couple worked. So different but so perfect for each other. Zander provided Faith with the courage to give love another try and Faith gave Zander the guidance, protection and understanding he needed to get past his tumultuous memories. Shouldn't have worked but it somehow did.
