When Hayden discovers a long lost child he has never known exists, he is determined to take care of his duties as a father. His search and subsequent discovery of his daughter brings him in contact with Alex. Alex is not what he expects. She will stop at nothing to make sure that her daughter feels loved, wanted and has all the things she longed for as a child. The best of intentions can make for the most heartbreaking of situations. However, miracles do happen and with a little bit of fate, a whole lot of love and understanding, along with the help of a special little girl Hayden and Alex discover family is a bond that is more than just genetics. It's heartfelt.

The conflicting emotions between the two main characters is central to the plot line of Nina Bruhns' Stop in the Name of Love. The chaotic aura of their relationship although interesting makes the story hard to follow. The personal struggles of Mary Alice also gives you insight into her as an individual character. All the things that make Russell off limits for her are what she likes most about him. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. Stop in the Name of Love is dark, hot and although a little puzzling it proves to be a good read.

Falling for Christmas is a story that speaks to everyone dealing with a broken heart.

With a stroke of the pen I was taken back in time to an era of matchmaking and romance with dashing gentlemen and graceful women. The simplicity of that time is what appeals to me the most. I received an ARC of Miss Featherton's Christmas Prince through NetGalley and Kensington. Meg and Damon's story plays out like a fairytale with the attraction and subterfuge that entails.

Ethan and J.J.'s story is the latest in the Outback Heat Series. The singe marks have barely healed from the from their first attempts at love. Bad choices, dangerous situations and secret infatuations lead these two friends into uncharted territory. What I liked about this story is that although afraid to take a chance on love, both were willing to do whatever necessary to help out a friend. Perhaps the problem had never been love but the people that they chose to give their hearts to. J.J. and Ethan were magic together. Although I was not as into this book as the other three within the series I did like the chemistry between the two main characters and found the story a well rounded read. With his world spiraling out of control Cutter is at a lost. Self-doubt starts to kick in and he is quickly losing his grip on all he holds dear. I received an ARC of A Bad Boy for Christmas in exchange for an honest review. Kelly Hunter wrote a story that is Grade A in every way. She took an alpha male who is used to being in control and a no holds barred woman who rolls with life punches and created a love story that is savvy, sexy, touching and just plain awesome.
