REVIEW: RUINED (THE WICKED WOODLEYS) BY JESS MICHAELS
Ruined by Jess Michaels
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
It seems like I have been waiting forever to find out Claire's story. Throughout Jess Michaels Wicked Woodleys series she has dropped little clues. The anxiety over this young woman's plight has been a staple in each and every book in the series but caused an abundance if tension between Josie and Evan in Deceived, and almost cost Gabriel his chance at happiness in Tempted. Now we get to experience Claire's courageous journey and learn the story behind her disappearance in Ruined. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. With Ruined Ms. Michaels gives her readers a love story that is larger than the characters themselves and as treacherous, perhaps more so than the other books within this series. It lived up to the hype for me.

REVIEW: DECEIVED (THE WICKED WOODLEYS) BY JESS MICHAELS
Deceived by Jess Michaels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
From childhood tormentor....to grown-up Prince Charming? Don't know how she does it. Whenever I read a story by Jess Michaels, I am not drawn in by the provocative story lines, sexual innuendos or the tawdry characters. What keeps me coming back is the enticing narratives, the enchanting romanticism and the magnetic characters. I am taken in by the elements of humanity. The errors of judgement that lead to misery and heartache before comprehension and happily ever after can be achieved. Ms. Michaels has a character in every one of her stories that wises up almost too late. Deceived chronicles Evan and Josie's rocky history in a story that is full of tender moments and heartbreaking ones. Received an ARC of Deceived in exchange for an honest review. I loved everything about it.

REVIEW: TEMPTED ( THE WICKED WOODLEYS) BY JESS MICHAELS
Tempted: The Wicked Woodleys by Jess Michaels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Tempted is two love stories packed into one mesmerizing read. I received an ARC of Jess Michaels latest work in exchange for an honest review. Ms. Michaels in my experience has never written a book that has not captured my attention right away. With this particular read it was slow going at first, but with intriguing characters, a twist of mystery and magnetic chemistry the story got back on track. The brooding Lord Gabriel refused to give his heart to the gentle Juliet due to the pain steming from estrangement from his twin and the loss of his father. Juliet is happy with her simple life in her beloved country far away from the complications of society and Gabriel. What I liked about this story is that it explored two generations of lovers that have a complicated history but shared an all consuming passion that proves more powerful than any objection they have and any obstacle thrown in it's way. In the end I found it hard not to love this book.
