REVIEW: YOU'RE STILL THE ONE (COUNTRY BLUES) BY RACHEL HARRIS
You're Still the One by Rachel Harris
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Coming across a character that is not easy to read is a welcome surprise. Arabella fit that description perfectly. Like a kid in a candy store, once uncorked she wanted to experience everything in her path. Charlie was her opposite. Where Arabella usually lived a restrictive existence, Charlie was used to breaking the rules. I received an ARC of You're Still The One by Rachel Harris in exchange for an honest review. Rachel Harris created a cheeky story that has a great deal of charm. Funny that Arabella had a secret addiction to trouble but it took so long for her to let it out. Charlie wanted to be seen as more than his rebellious rep and Arabella wanted to explore her hidden bad girl. You're Still the One is a wonderful blend of amusing and sexy. Great beginning to the Country Blues series.

REVIEW: EMERGENCY ENGAGEMENT (LOVE EMERGENCY) BY SAMANTHE BECK
Emergency Engagement by Samanthe Beck
My rating: 3.5 of 5 stars
Ms. Beck is an author that I occasionally read. I requested an ARC of Emergency Engagement from NetGalley and Entangled in exchange for an honest review. After the first few pages I was not impressed. There were some funny moments but it was slow going for a while in my opinion. I am glad that I did not throw in the towel because the story found it's voice rather quickly. This story spoke to me. Losing someone you love is never easy but losing two of the most important people in your life would be a hard thing to bounce back from. So it's no surprise that Beau has turned into a cynic. So I loved it when vibrant, artistic, unorganized Savannah blew into his life. She was the shock he needed to bring him back to life and a good complement to his closed off personality. Emergency Engagement had a slow build up but finished perfectly. 3.5 Stars

REVIEW: TAKING THE SCORE (TALL, DARK AND TEXAN) BY KATE MEADER
Taking the Score by Kate Meader
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A romp of a read that brings on the sensuality. Kate Meader is very well versed at writing stories that are heated and exciting. Taking the Score put those skills on prominent display. Brody and Emma have more going on than just a surface attraction. There are so many secrets that it's a little hard to keep count. I requested an ARC of Taking the Score from NetGalley and Entangled in exchange for an honest review. This story has a lot to offer a prospective reader.

REVIEW: FADE INTO YOU (SHAKEN DIRTY) BY TRACY WOLFF
Fade into You by Tracy Wolff
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Fade Into You got so intense that it became painful and disturbing to read. Ms. Wolff took the reader into the soul of an addict and exposed personal thoughts and the triggers and inner demons that work against them on their journey to sobriety. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Entangled Publishing from an honest review. This is Wyatt's rodeo as he faces realities that are hard to except, learns about himself and figures out why he keeps on making toxic decisions. This is being labeled as a romance and in a way it is but not in the truest sense. I think the love story lies more in Wyatt learning is stronger than he believes, his actions have consequences and he does matter despite his mistakes. Wyatt has to learn to love himself and in a round about mixed up way Poppy helps him realize that.
