REVIEW: DISTILLED HEAT (BOURBON SPRINGS # 6) BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
Distilled Heat by Jennifer Bramseth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I hope this series doesn't end anytime soon. Jennifer Bramseth has cemented herself irrevocably in my favorite author collection. Her stories are such a joy to read that I am always looking ahead to what subject matter she will tackle next and what characters she will use. I received an ARC of Distilled Heat in exchange for an honest review. As always there is a history between the two main characters. Jon and Pepper have been the best of friends for years. As with every relationship there are issues with trust and emotional turmoil but it is so obvious that these two are meant to be. I am so thankful to NetGalley for introducing me to Jennifer Bramseth. She is an author that has a prolific understanding of what is appealing to her audience. I am glad she is finally being discovered by more than just Amazon readers.

REVIEW: FILTERED THROUGH BLUE (BOURBON SPRINGS #2) BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
Filtered Through Blue by Jennifer Bramseth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Filtered Through Blue by Jennifer Bramseth is the second book in The Bourbon Spring Series. This book is a story of empowerment. It takes a lot of inner strength to overcome a painful past and a cheating husband. Loved how Hannah did not let her life experiences or what others said about her affect how she viewed her self. Ms. Bramseth created a great character in Hannah. Overcoming obstacles along the way Hannah faces her demons with grace. Love may just prove to be an added bonus. Received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

The grief and pain of lost and the fight for family legacy is something that Lila and Bo share. But will a fight over land cost Lila and Bo a future together. BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
SYNOPSIS
Welcome to the Land of Bourbon and Bluegrass…welcome to Bourbon Springs, Kentucky…
CiCi Summers, the Craig Circuit Court Clerk, knows all and sees all when it comes to Bourbon Springs gossip. She doesn’t fancy herself becoming a news item on the local grapevine but finds it hard to resist the new master distiller at Old Garnet.
Walker Cain is handsome, polite, professional and a little nerdy. But he’s also divorced, and even though he claims it was amicable and no kids were involved, CiCi has a rule: she doesn’t date divorced guys, due to her own painful history stretching back to her childhood.
But CiCi can’t resist Walker’s sweetly nerdly charms as well as his more sensual skills when it comes to what happens in the bedroom. Yet their relationship is tested when none other than Walker’s ex-wife is hired by Old Garnet as the distillery’s new heritage director, a newly-created position to help the distillery achieve National Historic Landmark status and promote the business.
Walker knows it is completely over with his ex-wife. What she did destroyed his trust and their marriage. But how can he convince CiCi he’s made his choice—and that it’s her?

REVIEW: DISTILLER'S CHOICE(THE BOURBON SPRINGS #4)
BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
Distiller's Choice by Jennifer Bramseth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Have been following this series from the very first book. I love how Ms. Bramseth takes small town living and blends it with big city problems. The characters are dealing with issues that can be faced anywhere just on a smaller scale. The thing I enjoy most about The Bourbon Springs collection is that Jennifer Bramseth writes it in a way that allows the reader to pick up right where the previous story left out. Yes, the stories center around the making and selling of liquor but at the heart of the story are characters that have lived through heartbreak, love and tragedy. That depth is what makes these books so great. Distiller's Choice is the latest in a captivating series. Received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

CEDAR AND CINNAMON (THE BOURBON SPRINGS #5) BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
SYNOPSIS
Welcome to the Land of Bourbon and Bluegrass...Welcome to Bourbon Springs, Kentucky...
Harriet Hensley usually enjoys the work that comes with being an attorney for Bourbon Springs’ most important business, Old Garnet Distillery. But when the distillery owners ask her to work on a crucial history project designed to burnish the distillery's application for National Historic Landmark status, Harriet isn’t excited. Her lack of enthusiasm isn't because she thinks the work will be dull. It’s because of the guy with whom she’s going to have to work.
Goose Davenport, a cousin of the distillery owners and now an important employee at Old Garnet, has been known for years as the local hothead, the crazy guy who seemed to hide behind his father’s badge—the late former Craig County Sheriff Fuzzy Davenport. Yet a few years earlier, Harriet, the local Little-Miss-Perfect and former Miss BourbonDaze, had a taste of that wild side of the man—and found she liked it quite a bit. But despite their mutual attraction, fate denied them the chance to see what happened next, and they kept the fact of their encounter—and feelings—to themselves.
Working with Goose presents new professional, personal, and legal challenges, and feelings suppressed for years boil to the surface. He’s enchanted by the woman he never thought he’d attain, and she’s delighted to learn about Goose’s softer side—as well as his deep knowledge and love of Old Garnet which astounds her.
Yet within that knowledge is buried a deep vein of resentment that stretches back nearly a hundred years, far back into the history of the brand and family. This lingering bitterness threatens not only Harriet and Goose’s new love, but Old Garnet itself.
CEDAR AND CINNAMON is the fifth book in the Bourbon Springs Series, a nine-book series of smooth, sensual, sexy, slow-burn contemporary romances set amidst the lush and rolling Land of Bourbon and Bluegrass of central Kentucky.
The sixth Bourbon Springs book, DISTILLED HEAT, will be released in winter 2016.

REVIEW: CEDAR AND CINNAMON (THE BOURBON SPRINGS #5) BY JENNIFER BRAMSETH
Cedar and Cinnamon by Jennifer Bramseth
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I am going to go out on a limb here and say this is the little series that could. The Bourbon Springs saga is a great one that not many are getting the chance to experience. This is a series that should not be missed. I received an ARC of Cedar and Cinnamon in exchange for my honest opinion. This particular story is about not letting personal opinions overshadow first hand knowledge. Goose is trying to convince others that he is not the same person they used to know. That proves difficult when you live in a place where everyone knows your name and remembers your reputation. Harriet is not about to be caught up in the whirlwind that is Goose again. Been there, done that and have the marks to prove it. But what is that saying? "Never say Never." This is the best read of the series yet and it pains me that not many retailers are carrying this wonderful series. Jennifer Bramseth's characters are written with her whole heart from start to finish.
