Kylie Gilmore is known for her humorous stories. I have become addicted to her heartwarming romances. Having read many, I thought I would take a chance on listening to a few. First up: The Opposite Site of Wild. Surprising, that a male voice greeted me when I pressed the play button. However that was where the surprises ended, Mr. Lawrence's narrative skills were on point. His impersonations were charming and his delivery was emotive and full of charm. Good pick. I enjoyed and will surely listen to more.

Almost Romance is a hilarious look at the science of love. Well written, sexy gift for the holiday season. Kylie Gilmore took the most common emotion in the world (LOVE) and examined not just the emotion but the dynamics behind what makes it all worthwhile. Short, sweet and to the point with somewhat awkward yet endearing characters Almost Romance let me fall in love with this feel good story. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Kylie Gilmore. The name alone says it all. I know that I am in for a good time when I pick up her novels. Her stories are short enough to whet your appetite and long enough to fall in love with. Not only am I always entertained but the little antidotes (lessons) thrown in along the way add flavor to these sweet reads.

Almost in Love - Barry is so adorably clueless. He's so worried about fitting in. That he fails to realize how special he really is. Ms. Gilmore conjured up a character that captures a readers attention. His insecurities are what made him sweet and easily identifiable. The definition of perfection. My Rating: 5 stars
Almost Married (Clover Park STUDS, #2)
Almost Married - Stephanie is stuck in the middle of some heavy testosterone. Talk about complicated. Almost married is a comedy of errors. Secret marriages, kept in the dark boyfriends and confused emotions headline this vortex of fun. Who will she choose. Personally, I know my pick but I think Stephanie needs to exercise a little self-acceptance and maturity before she creates more chaos. My Rating 3.5 stars
Almost Over It (Clover Park STUDS, #3)
Almost Over It - Will broke my heart. Bad decisions in his past, left him with guilt. Almost Over It would make a wonderful serial. Somewhere along the way it lost the humor and became a story of regret and hope. There are so many reasons that I am a fan of Ms. Gilmore. Jasmine and Will are just two of those.

Love the way Kylie Gilmore tackles heartbreak with a warm hug and a smile. I always get that feeling from her stories and it brightens my day. Her stories impart tiny bits of wisdom hidden inside her captivating storytelling. I received an ARC of A Tempting Friendship in exchange for an honest review. The message behind this story is "listen to your heart." Angel and Julia share a strong friendship that has withstood, marriage, loss and heartbreak. Can it survive the bumpy road to love? Julia is a widow finally ready to move on and find someone new. Angel is the ever loyal friend that has helped her through her darkest days and brought hope and laughter back into her world. A Tempting Friendship is a tenderly charming friends to lovers story that has all the right ingredients to make it a sweet temptation.

Clutch Player by Kylie Gilmore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Only Kylie Gilmore can get me to even consider reading a story like this. Normally, I stay away from stories that have the slightest hint of a medical story line. The bogged down medical jargon, the emotional plots and the egocentric characters totally turn me off. That is not what Clutch Player brought to the table. There were some moment of heartbreak but Ms. Gilmore had me laughing through my tears and Hoping for the best. I received an ARC of Clutch Player in exchange for an honest review. Emily is faced with serious situations on a daily basis due to her career. She and Jarod have that in common but he has a less serious, more upbeat outlook on life. He was just what the doctor ordered for Emily. I enjoy reading Ms. Gilmore because at the end of the day her stories are full of warmth and heart.
