Ha, I love this quote because Luke’s stunned that he just caught Andrea smelling
him after they first met. He’s stunned but he’s also intrigued. He likes this girl. A lot.
He’s thinking she likes him a lot too…

Or how about, What exactly are you packing in them jeans? Because...holy hell,
it’s big. Here’s some more funny sexy for you. Andrea doesn’t say this out loud—she thinks it.

Endless Nights, in Five Words
There are many words I could use to describe ENDLESS NIGHTS (second in my
VEGAS NIGHTS series) so to ask me to choose only five is going to be hard! But
I shall valiantly carry on. So here we go.
ENDLESS NIGHTS is FUN: Three single girlfriends who go to Vegas for a fun
weekend can be nothing less than fun! Not only do I think it’s a fun read, but I
had a blast writing every single novella in this series.
ENDLESS NIGHTS is pure FANTASY: I mean, come on. Three friends go to
Vegas and meet gorgeous, famous men who fall madly in love with them?
It’s pretty unreal. But then again, that’s the point. I set out to write this series
as pure contemporary fantasy. In ENDLESS NIGHTS, nurse Andrea meets
pro football player Luke and sparks fly. Who doesn’t want to fall in love with
a sexy football player?
ENDLESS NIGHTS is SEXY: Luke Nelson is a man’s man. Big, strong, he’s a
badass out on the football field and a charmer off. He takes one look at pretty
Andrea and knows he has to have her--and does whatever it takes to get her. The sex between these two is off the charts but also…
ENDLESS NIGHTS is SWEET: Because Luke really does care about Andrea.
He’s not chasing her just for the chase. He’s intrigued by her. Drawn to her.
He likes this woman, who’s so normal and doesn’t seem to care so much
that he’s some sort of celebrity, like all the other women he encounters. He
loves that about Andrea. Her normalcy.
Finally, ENDLESS NIGHTS is REAL: Fine. I said it was pure fantasy but also?
I tried my best to keep Andrea and her friends Reagan and Natalie real. They’re
just regular women who work hard at their jobs and are looking for a little fun for
the weekend. They need the escape. And boy do they find it—in the form
of three sexy men.
Fun Facts about Endless Nights
A book series is never born out of nothing. There are always influences that come
into play as I put together a series, and the VEGAS NIGHTS series is no exception.
So without further ado, let’s discuss a few of those fun little facts.
When I approached my editor about the VEGAS NIGHTS series, she asked that I
have each heroine fall in love with an actor, a pro athlete and a rockstar (she was
especially fond of the rockstar idea –and you'll meet Noah Wilde in WILD NIGHTS in July). I was certainly on board for that…
The heroine from ENDLESS NIGHTS is named after a favorite blogger of mine
(though she doesn’t blog anymore, boo) who complained on Twitter a long time
ago, I never see any heroines named Andrea! My name isn’t
heroine-worthy. Well, Andrea, now it is. J
I haven’t told my husband that my hero Luke Nelson plays for the Seattle
Seahawks because I’m afraid he might disown me. You see, my husband
is a hardcore 49er fan and he, uh, hates the Seahawks. But I wanted to
keep Luke on the west coast and I’ve already written a hero who plays for
the 49ers and I don’t like the Raiders so…hello Seahawks.
The hotel they’re staying at in ENDLESS NIGHTS is based on the Bellagio. I
did a signing in Vegas last fall and stayed at the Bellagio and wow, it’s gorgeous.
So I knew I had to base my fictional hotel on the Bellagio because yeah, why not?
Though there are so many beautiful hotels in Vegas it’s not hard to find some
inspiration.
The hotel in ENDLESS NIGHTS has no name. I did that on purpose.
There’s a scene in a lingerie store that was inspired by the Victoria’s Secret
catalog I received while writing ENDLESS NIGHTS. I thought, ooh that stuff
is pretty, and decided to have Andrea try some of it on for Luke. He mightily
approved.
I love writing a pro athlete hero. I’ve written so many, it’s like I can’t escape them.
I don’t want to escape them! They are way too much fun. And sexy. And hot.
And gorgeous. And…you get the picture.

Wicked Weekend (Vegas Nights, #0.5) by Karen Erickson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A prequel novella in Karen Erickson's Vegas Nights series, I found Wicked Weekend to be unrealistically entertaining. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the story a great deal. The story centers around three friends who decide to get away from their busy lives and careers on a weekend roadtrip to Vegas. I found the story to be highly entertaining and loved my introduction to Reagan, Andrea and Natalie. The only negative things I have to say about the story is that some of the scenarios were unrealistic and the story was to short. However that still did not detract from my enjoyment. Reckless Nights picks up where Wicked Weekend left off. Regan and Declan meeting. Their relationship turns hot and heavy really fast. But can a weekend fling between two very different people turn into a ever after love? Regan is insecure about if she is really enough and Declan is unsure if he and Regan can make a relationship work, based on a steamy weekend fling. This is a short story and is quite good. It will definitely leave you wanting more. Don't like to give away spoilers, so if my review intrigues you--READ THE BOOK! Received this book for an honest review. Am really loving Karen Erickson's "Vegas Nights" series. This series has everything. A group of close knit girlfriends go on a roadtrip to Vegas and end up finding a sensually satisfying good time with guys who are tired of the celebrity scene. Endless Nights is Andrea and Luke's story. She is a nurse, he is a pro football player. They only have the weekend to explore their feelings. What happens when they each discover they want more?
