My Review
Just One Taste (Pine Mountain, #4.5) by Kimberly Kincaid
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Jesse and Kat are each trying to heal from past life experiences. A former army medic, Jesse has been faced with some of the most gruesome sights and Kat has dealt with an overbearing parent that made her feel suffocated. Jesse has escaped the trauma of his past by becoming a sous chef at a local bar. Kat has become her own woman by working at a career she loves and living in her own space. An unexpected flood in the apartment building leads to Kat and Jesse becoming begrudging roommates. Can these two lost souls help each other become who they were meant to be? Just One Taste by Kimberly Kincaid is a story about learning to be independent but also knowing when to ask for help. I found this story to be a touching work of art. Received an ARC of this story for an honest review. (www.goodreads.com/review/list/25556913-isha-coleman)
