Lisa and Rafael find reason in the painful and support in each others arms. I always walk into a Tess Thompson novel, knowing I'll leave a piece of my heart behind when it's over.

Prince Charming is not the answer to a prayer, but is more often than not a jerk. However, the lessons hidden within this realistic, sometimes far-fetched romance are life at it's most heartbreaking, but love at it's most sublime. In order to find happiness, we have to take our head out of the clouds and take a chance on listening to our hearts. Sweet words. Emotional delivery. Wonderful story.

Marrying the Wrong Twin - Emotionally Stunning!
Looks can be deceiving. Behind the fabulous life can lurk some ugly truths and Casey puts those facts on full display. My heart broke for Asha. A woman who doesn't quite know how to be a grownup, because the people who say they love her treat her like a pawn in a childish game. Rustin is the one person who sees beyond the broken woman. His choices don't always make him likable, but a bit more understandable. I didn't expect to like this heartbreaking read, but I fell in love with the characters. (5 stars)
