An hour later, I left on crutches with a bruised ass, a fractured ankle, and an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon at four p.m.
Arriving fifteen minutes late for that appointment, I heard the sexy yet very brash accent of a man who clearly had an obsession with punctuality and, apparently, no bedside manner.
Dr. Ethan Stewart, tall, copper-haired, sinfully sexy … was a total ass.
After a tongue-lashing about how irresponsible I was to, first, leave the ER with such an injury, and second, be late, I put him in his place … or so I thought.

Fields has a naughty sense of humor and that makes for captivating storytelling. Scandalous is drowning in heat and saturated with humor. Ethan is not always likable, but his penchant of unpredictable brashness definitely makes him unforgettable. Elizabeth is a little bit awkward that makes more than a bit relatable. Though not necessarily a perfect match in my opinion there is definitely chemistry there.

I don't usually gravitate towards danger, yet something inside encouraged me to give Liar a try. James pushes emotions to the limit. Unpredictable turns into hard to put down. From maybe to absolutely, Tate James knows how to deliver breathless.
