Review:
The complexity of the story defines the characters in it, while enticing any person who is lucky enough to read it. Adam is a man with the heart of a warrior but like every fighter he carries baggage that is suffocating the essence of who is as a man. Guilt is his constant companion and responsibility is his only escape. Until he meets a woman with secrets of her own and and allure that calls to the protector in his soul. Then he becomes the hero he was meant to be. Adam is a combination of what Ms. St. Clair does best. A suspenseful temptation that forges a haunting pathway to the soul. (4.5 stars)
