Risky Play (Red Card, #1) by Rachel Van Dyken

Review:

Risky Play (Red Card, #1) - Rachel Van Dyken

Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite authors to read. From start to finish, my heart belongs to the characters she creates and the dramas they face. Risky Play is no exception. Slade, I admit is a little hard to love, but who really ever is when they're nursing a broken heart. Mackenzie is the type of heroine, I root for. She's finding her footing after numerous upheavals in her personal life. There were times I just wanted to hug her and assure her that life would get better. There were many moments were Slade needed a good throttling, but a good author, doesn't make it easy to get to the happy ending. Once you get there, a good author makes you glad you stayed. I was glad I stayed.
