Hale did not come across callous. She seemed liked a troubled woman whose biggest critic was herself. By allowing events from her past to filter into her present she gave up on the people that could have helped her see her strengths and gave into her weaknesses. Fear drove her away from her home, family and the man she loved but finding the courage to face her painful childhood, the loss of her father and the love she left behind took maturity. By facing her fears she found her heart and by healing became stronger. You Only is a story about facing fears, opening your heart and finding your own truth. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and found it to be an emotional journey that was beautifully written.
