Love Her Madly by Christie Ridgway

My rating: 4 of 5 stars


I was introduced to the Rock Royalty series when I purchased Light My Fire (Book #1) from Amazon. I had read Christie Ridgway in the past and figured I would check the series out. Enjoyed it so much I knew I had to read Love Her Madly (Book #2). The thing that I enjoy most about this series is that the assumption that these characters live charmed lives is way off base. They have faults and have to face obstacles like everyone else. Bing has been labeled as the "bad twin" so long, he sees himself that way. Jumping from bad choice to sticky situations, it is almost as if he deems himself unworthy of love and happiness. Alexa is his one weakness. She has always held his heart. Alexa has the loving family that Bing has always dreamed of but she doesn't feel like she can measure up to the expectations of others. It is interesting that neither sees it, but they are the guiding light in the each others world. Love Her Madly is a magnificent story of pain, redemption and the healing power of love.
