SYNOPSIS
The graduating class of Cherry Lake High School is celebrating their freedom with the traditional camp-out in the Jackson Cherry Orchard on the banks of Flathead Lake, Montana. Small Town Secrets is a look at young love through the eyes of the people who lived through the heartbreak. Taking a trip down memory lane is never an easy thing to do. However, recollecting the events from the past allows Nate and Pansy to examine their mistakes and forgive each other. Roxanne Snopek's well thought out story of love is touching and a wonderful start to the Secrets of Cherry Lake series.

SYNOPSIS

In life there are surprises around every corner. Secrets waiting to be revealed. Some good and bad. Some happy and sad. The Secret Son by Joan Kilby takes a look at hidden truths. Alex has always had unanswered questions about himself. The one person that can answer them is the father he longs to know. But finding answers opens the lid to many other unrevealed truths that may affect others. I liked this story. Ms. Kilby takes the reader through Alex's inner struggle with trying to do the right thing without hurting others. She also brings into his life Emma who is dealing with her own insecurities but serves as stabilizing force for Alex. The Secret Son is a look at how actions and secrets have ripple effects.

Her Secret Love by Paula Altenburg

Jessica left Cherry Lake because she never felt like she belonged. So when the chance presented itself she hightailed it out. Now ten years later she is back. Damon is the guy she left behind with a broken heart. I have to be honest at first introduction, I did not like Jessica very much. But as the story went on and explained some of the backstory I developed a better understanding of the character. In hindsight she had to leave to keep her sanity and maybe it helped her to grow up some. Her Secret Love is a story of finding your voice, speaking your mind, growing up and moving on. I liked it.

I really did not expect to like this story as much as I did. Once again Roxanne Snopek surprised me. Her Secret Protector takes a look at how a young girl made a bad choice that comes back to haunt her years later. Carrie needs help. She turns to Ethan and sparks fly. While trying to fix a devastating security breach these two individuals loners start to find something special. Roxanne Snopek has a way of steering a love story from ordinary to extraordinary.

The Secret Bride is a story of empowerment, understanding and forgiveness. A drastic choice made in her youth left lasting consequences for Jacie. In the aftermath she had to make some touch decisions. Brett saw himself as Jacie's protector no matter what. But when she disappeared without a backward glance, he was left heartbroken and confused. Ten years later, Jacie returns to confront her past and maybe claim her future. Jeannie Watt has written a story that is full of emotion, big on secrets and a beautiful read. I received an ARC of The Secret Bride in exchange for an honest review.
