Took my breath away. Chasing Mr. Wrong is a decadent feast for the senses. The characters are sexy. The story is emotionally fulfilling. Ryder and Whitney were like a pack of sour patch kids. One minute sugary sweet, the next bitterly sour. Whitney saw right through Ryder, flaws and all. Ryder and Whitney are for me my favorite couple from an Entangled story. My reason being is they had to fight so hard to overcome the odds. I received an ARC of Joya Ryan's Chasing Mr. Wrong in exchange for an honest review. LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK.

His Lover to Protect by Katee Robert

Anger, acceptance and healing. All three played a major role in the relationship between Alexis and Luke. Life had dealt each a crushing blow. Now they had to learn to face their limitations and conquer their fears. His Lover to Protect is a moving and inspirational story. My main issue with this novel however is that the relationship between Luke and Alexis developed far to rapidly. I received an ARC of His Lover to Protect in exchange for an honest review.

Two wounded people find the perfect soul mate in each other. The Earl's New Bride is a story of love, betrayal, beauty and pain. I was spellbound by how appealing this story is. A dark cloud of mystery hangs over Simon (The Earl). Bitter, disillusioned and disfigured he does not trust easily. Not willing to make the same mistakes twice he decides he will find a wife that meets his standards. Not a beauty. Henrietta is beautiful inside and out. She has a good heart and smart mind, but her interpersonal skills prove lacking. She keeps to herself due to a speech impediment. Simon is not what Henrietta expects. Henrietta is not what Simon believes he wants. Yet their souls call to each other despite the obstacles. I received an ARC of The Earl's New Bride by Frances Fowlkes in exchange for an honest review. I thought it was an enthralling read of courage and redemption despite the odds.

Making a Play is a keeper. Hot guy, sexy girl, white hot chemistry. Loved it and am glad to have been given the chance to experience Victoria Denault's Hometown Players series. The author took each character out of their comfort zone and brought them into scenarios they had yet to face. For instance, Luc is used to being the bad boy of hockey, when he faces losing that he goes back to his roots. Some things are the same but surprising changes await him as well. Rose is sick and tired of being found wanting. Maybe she'll get what she wants if she changes. Will she realize before it's too late that she is perfect just the way she is? Making a Play is a delightful look at dealing with maturity and change that is told in a way that makes it deliciously tempting. I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review. Gold star material for me.

She made decisions based on logic and was surprised when her emotions came into play. With one kiss Lucius knows his life has changed. A nobleman who is more focused on the responsibilities his title entails, he is captivated by the woman bold enough to bring him out of his shell. Christy Carlyle has in One Scandalous Kiss written an emotionally fulfilling story. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Scandal Before Sunrise, Book 1 of The Weekly Scandal bySabrina Darby

I didn't want Scandal Before Sunrise to end. Sabrina Darby's blend of comedic drama and scheming trickery is a fun twist on historical romance. Abigail is trouble with a capital "T". Determined to lose that moniker and escape further shame she seeks to change her image. Cleaning up her act has never been so hard. Long hidden truths may be destined to destroy the one chance she has to escape infamy and find happiness. Elliot discovers there is so much more to Abigail behind the mirage she presents to the world. Will his fascination with her prove to be both of their downfalls? I received an ARC of this novella in exchange for an honest review. The allure of the characters and the charm of the story had me breezing through this read. My one complaint would be that the story was not long enough for me. Was sad to see it end.
