Despite it's predictability Cindi Madsen manages to leave you smiling and entertained at the end of this cute read.

Sarah Ballance provided a wonderful balance of heart and entertainment. The teacher became the student. Along the way learning that sexiness is more than a fun time and a cheap thrill. With Ms. Ballance the stories are not over dramatized but still pack an emotional wallop.

Awkward! Talk about making a lasting impression. This story was a comedic gold mine. Micah is not what one would expect in a romance author. Slightly awkward recluse with a charm that shines through the geekiness. Oh yeah and he's all male and straight. Kelsey is his biggest fan and as his personal concierge she has to see to his every need. I received an ARC of her secret lover in exchange for an honest review.
Robin Covington created a story that screams temptation. The twist of a male romance writer is something not seen very often and at romance convention no less. A cute read that I would recommend.
Iris Clayton is supposed to be on a tropical island, soaking up the sun and a few dozen mojitos. Instead, she’s snowbound in Chicago overnight, holding out hope the morning flight isn’t cancelled. Good thing there’s a hot cowboy to keep her company. And it doesn’t hurt that Mr. Tall, Calm, and Sun-Streaked can make her tremble with one sultry look from under his well-worn hat.
Montana rancher Nash Wallace sucks at ice skating, has no clue what a selfie is, and may be a tad averse to breaking and entering, but being with Iris makes him want to bend a few rules. Or, hell, throw them out the window altogether. She’s fun, spontaneously crazy, and can rock a Muppet fur coat like no one’s business. He’s falling hard and fast, but wanting to spend his life with someone after one night is insane.

Kira Archer is an author that at the end of a hard day and you are feeling kind of down, you can count on her stories to pick you up and turn the day around. Her characters are written with a sweetness that borders on mischievous and will touch the darkest heart with their unpredictability. I received an ARC of Loving Her Crazy in exchange for an honest review. I found it funny and marvelous. Iris is a whirlwind who hides her true feelings behind jokes and her brash attitude. Nash is blown away by her but has resigned himself to being a loner. The Crazy Love series is appealing, entertaining and a great escape that is worth every trip.

I received an ARC of When We Kiss by Darcy Burke in exchange for an honest review. Liam's daredevil tendencies served two purposes. It helped him escape the pain of losing his twin brother but it also helped him to feel alive. I think he used it as a punishment to himself for not saving his brother. Aubrey becomes a link to his brother. Her sympathy for his loss and dedication to her job is what brings them together. i like to think their meeting was his twin's way of tying up lose ends and letting Liam know when it was time to move on. These Archer's know how to break a heart but Darcy Burke knows how to repair it. I love this series.

Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde what a combination. I have been a fan of Ms. Phillips since I read her first Dare novels. In her stories you experience well developed characters. You get to see their inner struggles and all the emotions that have made them who they are. Clay was the perfect muse for her. Where he came from allowed him to see the world differently and help others whenever he could. Erika Wilde brought the spice. Her stories are seductive with a capital S. These two authors blended so well together that it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began. Dirty Sexy Saint is a story that is full of warmth, dimensional and all you would expect from two bestselling authors.

What I liked about this story is that there were personality differences, job stipulations and life struggles that weighed heavily on these peoples lives. Yet despite it all they find freedom when together. This story stirs up a great many feelings but is largely about learning accept a person flaws and all. A pleasant surprise. I have read some of Ms. Vane's work in the past so I am familiar with her as an author. Love her historical romances. I had no idea that she wrote contemporary romance though. I received an ARC of Hell on Heels in exchange for an honest review. At the beginning it was touch and go for me. The build up to the intro between the main characters seemed far too drawn out. Once it happened however there was no going back. The tension permeated off the page in every interaction between Ty and Monica. There was no clear favorite for me in their steamy battle enjoyed it so much that that I am looking forward reading more contemporary from this author.

Sports stories are not my forte but romance is. Kristina Matthews got me to stop and take notice with Earning a Ring. Once I got past the baseball references I actually enjoyed Bryce and Rachel. Busy careers, fiery personalities and attention getting characters made for an intriguing romance. I am not one who likes to give too much of a story away but I will say that learning to compromise was key to making this relationship work. This author is new to me and would enjoy reading more of her work in the future.

To the outside world Brynn looks like she has it all together but in really she has been slowly falling apart for years. Struggling with anger and shame due to events beyond her control. Ford is her long lost love and her second chance to get her life right. I thought that Ms. Kelly wrote an empowering story about the benefits of love, faith and moving forward.

I am a regular reader of romance. Enjoy reading contemporary and historical but my personal preference has always been historical. The spectacular parties where anything can happen, the chance of finding adventure and romance around every corner. The breathtaking characters that are shrouded in mystery or desperation. I just loved it. I received an ARC of To Catch a Lady in exchange for an honest review.
Caroline is the type of character I love to read about. She is not worried about what her peers think of her but, she wants to make a difference in the world. Ashton is a charmer that has the looks, title and the obligations of a nobleman but prefers a more carefree existence. The makeup of this story reminded me so much of the Catherine Maxwell stories I used to read as a teen. Ashton and Caroline's transformation into a couple was a little bit frustration, a little wicked but a whole lot of marvelous.

The connection between the two main characters is what made Her Wicked Proposal such a beautiful story. Neither wanted to need each other and considered themselves to be flawed in some way but that is what made Anna and Cedric's story such a breathtaking discovery. Cedric's torment is so real it screams from every page. Anna wants more than just to be wanted for her fortune. She wants to be loved for herself not what she has, but who she is. In my opinion that is why she had such empathy for Cedric. This story is so well thought out it is almost hard to forget that it comes with a mystery mixed in. Her Wicked Proposal is a compassionate love story that is as puzzling as it is perfect. The seamless presentation makes it a worthy excursion. Ms. Dawson is very good stimulating the senses. Whether dark and dreary, fun and light or sensuous her stories get a reaction. That is what I love about her writing. She is not afraid to try something new. With Unraveled I am on the fence. She goes full throttle with the sexiness, throws in some heart but I did not enjoy it as much as I have some of her previous stories. Some of the scenarios were disturbing and took away from the story instead of added to it. Unraveled is a little edgier than the previous books in this series. How would I describe The Rogue Debutante? An unorthodox escapade that is hard to follow but worth taking a chance on. I received an ARC of Maggie Dallen's novel in exchange for an honest review. Delia, the title character after years of captivity, neglect and taking orders has decided to become her own rescuer. Her personality was a great match for this fantastical story. She has made a choice to follow her heart, become her own woman and do so her way. For me she was the one bright spot in a story that proved to be unsatisfactory for. Normally I don't read steampunk know so that could have played a part in my opinion.

If Playing Dirty was Shaw's story, Getting Rough is Cassidy's through and through. Shaw and Cassidy are their own worst enemies. They thrive on being the best and although that is not a bad thing the way they go about achieving that title is. If each took a minute to really examine what drives them to succeed, the similarities would far outshine their different backgrounds. If the objective was to prove that a reader can fall in love with unlikable characters this author was a success. I received an ARC of Getting Rough in exchange for an honest review.

Playing Dirty is a smart, tension filled, adrenaline charged, sensual read. I received an ARC for an honest review. From the very first you feel the heated sexual tension jump off the page. C.L. Parker does a exceptional job of drawing you in to this emotional tug of war between her two main characters. I also loved the first person narration and how it alternated between the two characters. Through the narration you were able to get the viewpoint straight from Shaw and Cassidy themselves. It added to the realism of the story. This was a very entertaining read that was well worth the time.

How would I describe The Rogue Debutante? An unorthodox escapade that is hard to follow but worth taking a chance on. I received an ARC of Maggie Dallen's novel in exchange for an honest review. Delia, the title character after years of captivity, neglect and taking orders has decided to become her own rescuer. Her personality was a great match for this fantastical story. She has made a choice to follow her heart, become her own woman and do so her way.
