FAR TOO TEMPTING BY LAUREN BLAKELY

SYNOPSIS

Jane Black has written the breakup album of the century, earning her a Grammy, a huge legion of new fans, and the pressure to repeat her success. Sure, the heartbreak from her husband’s unconventional abandonment might have been her inspiration, but it hasn’t done her any favors in the dating department. So when Matthew Harrigan, the toughest music journalist out there, asks for an interview, Jane agrees—as long as her personal life is completely off-limits.

British, gorgeous, and way too tempting, Matthew’s the first guy Jane’s been attracted to since her husband. As she spends more time with him and their relationship heats up, though, so does her writer’s block. How can the queen of the break up pen the perfect follow-up when she’s seriously in love?

REVIEW:  FAR TOO TEMPTING BY LAUREN BLAKELY

Far Too TemptingFar Too Tempting by Lauren Blakely

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lauren Blakely writes characters that get a reaction. A bad boy trying to make good, a woman trying to forget her past or a family searching for answers to an age old mystery. Ms. Blakely has written it all and thrown in some high octane sensuality for good measure. Far Too Tempting is a little more slow paced them some of her other romances but it still has characters that are easy to identify with, emotions that are understandable and sex appeal that is off the charts.

REVIEW:  MELT FOR HIM (FIGHTING FIRE) BY LAUREN BLAKELY

Melt for Him (Fighting Fire, #2)Melt for Him by Lauren Blakely

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I've been reading Lauren Blakely for a long time and have to say that Megan and Becker brought the matches that started the fire which brought the trouble in Melt for Him. The connection was instant and obvious. Sexiest couple Ms. Blakely has written to date. The romance was there but the story was lacking for me. Wish there had been more back story to even out the sexual chemistry. Each character was fighting an inner struggle from past hurts that could have added to this story of taboo temptation. I was looking for more than a hot read.
