BEDDING THE BEST MAN ( BEDDING THE BACHELORS) BY VIRNA DEPAUL
Release Date: June 7, 2016
Rough-around-the-edges Gabe Nolan grew up poor in a bad neighborhood and literally fought his way to the top, learning discipline through boxing and earning a college degree. Now the owner of the nation’s most popular chain of sports adventure stores, he enjoys wealth and women, but neither can diminish the pain of losing the girl of his dreams to his best friend.
Brianne Whitcomb is all set to marry Eric, a man who’s perfect for her in every way—except for the fact he’s not Gabe. But Gabe didn’t fight for her when he had the chance, and it’s obvious he views her only as a friend. He’s even agreed to be Eric’s Best Man. Only when Eric fails to show up for the wedding, Gabe takes on a new role: Brianne’s confidante and shoulder-to-cry-on. The more time they spend together, the more friendship turns into an irresistibly tempting passion.
With no idea if or when Eric will return, Gabe and Brianne tentatively explore whether their physical attraction can lead to something lasting. But Gabe’s fear that he’ll never be good enough is the toughest opponent of all. Will Gabe take on the fight of his life to win Brianne’s love?
REVIEW: BEDDING THE BEST MAN (BEDDING THE BACHELORS) BY VIRNA DEPAUL
Bedding The Best Man by Virna DePaul
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Complicated bachelors, spirited women and modern day love stories are a perfect fit for the Bedding the Bachelors series. The roadway to love proves difficult but the payoff is so worth the stormy weather along the way. Having made a success of a life built on despair and disappointment Gabe still focuses on what he lacks instead of all he's accomplished. The girl that holds his heart is promised to someone else and he will always be seen as not good enough in the eyes of the only people that matter in his life. Brianne has never seen Gabe as anything but the man of her dreams. Her heart has always belonged to the boy with the sad eyes and humongous chip on his shoulder. Only one major obstacle stands in the way for this star-crossed pair. Until Gabe accepts his past, his future with Brianne will remain in question. I have been in love with this series since Bedding the Wrong Brother first landed on my ereader. In all that time and with every story my opinion of this series and author has yet to change.

THE SHEIKH'S DIAMOND BY LESLIE NORTH
True love is priceless—or is it?
Sheikh Masoud Khalidizack is terminally bored by palace life. With his elder brother inheriting his father’s responsibilities and his younger brother treating life like one big party, he often feels left behind. When a family friend suggests a bet to see which brother will be left unwed at the end of the year, Masoud thinks it is impossible to lose and he’s already making plans on what to do with the prize - Muharraq Island.
That all changes with the arrival of headstrong Fleur Summers, a beautiful archaeologist bent on finding the legendary Solomon Diamond. It was once part of the Khalidizack family’s heritage, but now it is lost to history. Her reputation depends on finding it and putting it into a museum, but the distractingly handsome Sheikh who hired her certainly isn’t helping. In fact, Masoud intends to restore the diamond to its rightful place – in the Khalidizack palace.
Now, they have to overcome their mutual mistrust and simmering attraction to find the artifact that could bring glory to them both. In a race against ruthless rivals that spans continents, finding the prize will bring them together or destroy one of their lives.

REVIEW: THE SHEIKH'S DIAMOND BY LESLIE NORTH
The Sheikh's Diamond by Leslie North
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
With a mind for puzzles and a lust for history Fleur sets off to feed her curiosity. Her persistence lands her in a foreign land that is as mysterious as his ruling family. Masoud longs for adventure. His family is royal and his homeland is at the center of a spectacular find but he seeks more. When Fleur and her inquisitive mind come into his life, everything changes. Could he be the missing piece that he's searching for? I received an ARC of The Sheikh's Diamond by Leslie North in exchange for an honest review. A love story intertwined with a complex riddle took some getting used to but Masoud and Fleur made an engaging romantic duo that was different and appealed to the detective in me. I love a good mystery.
